  1. I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety over the past year and it has gotten worse lately, so I am thinking about seeing a therapist. You make a great point that I should take advantage of free consultations that different potential therapists. This way I can figure out if I feel comfortable working with the therapist and if they have experience helping people who have dealt with anxiety like me.

  2. It’s helpful that you said a consultation is a good way to get a snapshot of what therapy is like before you start going regularly. I want to find a therapist that I get along with. That’ll be helpful when I need to trust them with information.
